Hotel Rules and Management policies

 

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Hotel Management requests your co-operation in observing the following as an agreement between the Guest and the RADHU’s BOUTIQUE INN under which rooms are to be used by the guest(s):

1. Tariff

The room rate includes lodging and meals as per booking plan.  Additional meals, amenities and services are available at extra cost. To upgrade your room amenities and services, please contact us at the Reception. An additional fee (40% of the tariff) shall apply should an extra bed be required.

2. Settlement of Bills

Bills shall be settled at the reception a day before the Check-out OR be settled on presentation.

3. Company's Lien on Guest's Luggage and Belongings

In the case of any default in the payment of dues by a guest, the Radhu’s Boutique Inn shall have a lien on their luggage and belongings, OR be entitled to detain the guest until settlement of all payments.

4. Check-in 

Check-in time for guest(s) is 0900 - 2100 hours. Rooms not occupied by 21:00 hours will be considered as No-Show. Guest registration forms must be signed on arrival. ID card or Passport must be presented upon Check-in. By Law, visitors must present personal documents for Hotel records. These documents will be scanned and returned. Upon arrival, all guests must provide a guarantee of payment for his/her stay at the Front Office.

5. Departure

Check out time is 0500 - 0800 hours. Please inform the Front Office if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. Extension shall be granted depending on the availability. If the room is available, normal tariff shall be charged. On failure of the Guest to vacate the room on expiry, the Hotel Management shall have the right to remove the Guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

6. Housekeeping Service

Room cleaning shall be performed from 0800 - 1200 hours. Linen/ Towels will be changed every alternate day. If the guest(s) require(s) a specific time for room cleaning, they are required to make arrangements at the Front Office.

07. Visitors

Guest(s) may have visitors in their rooms which must be registered at the Front Office. Visits are allowed until 22:00 hours. In case of extended visits after 22:00 hours, the Radhu’s Boutique Inn will charge an additional fee of 40% of the tariff per room per night, as a supplement for the guest/visitor.

08. Hazardous Goods, Cooking & Cooking Appliances

Weapons, explosives, inflammable objects and materials or other dangerous chemicals or goods of hazardous nature are strictly prohibited in the Hotel premises.

The guest(s) shall be solely liable and responsible to the property, other guests, invitees, visitors, and personnel for all loss, whether financial or otherwise and the damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of such rules and instructions.

A minimum fee of INR 2000.00 will be charged for cooking in a room / Property for the use of hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame, barbecue grill, burners, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking.  Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere in the premises.

The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is of high importance to us.

09. Damage to Property*

The guest(s) will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the property caused by themselves, their visitor(s) or any person for whom they are responsible.

In case of damage caused to the hotel by the guest, the guest is due to cover the cost of all damage caused to the Hotel.

*Includes the plucking of fruits within the premises

10. Hotel Management's Rights

It is agreed that the Guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner, not to disturb other guests, and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the Hotel premises.

In case of breach of Hotel Rules and Management Policies by the Guest, the Hotel Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the Hotel forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the Guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the Hotel Management has the right to remove luggage and belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

 

Partnering for Climate Justice

 

Climate Change has resulted in a drastic rise in temperatures which has in-turn severely impacted the environment across the globe. The impact of Climate Change has been particularly alarming for Ladakh. In the past 4 decades alone, there has been a 3 degree Celsius rise in the average temperature of Ladakh resulting in less snowfall and a faster snowmelt, thus causing water scarcity.

Polythene Bags and Plastic threatens wild fauna found in the region aquatic, aerial as well as terrestrial.

01. NO SMOKING

The RADHU’s BOUTIQUE INN is a non-smoking establishment. The ban on smoking is in place in all rooms & the restaurant. The hotel reserves the right to charge an additional fee of INR 2000.00 for violating the ban.

02. Use of Polythene Bags

The use of Polythene Bags is strictly prohibited within the hotel premises as Ladakh is a “NO POLYTHENE ZONE”. The use of Polythene Bags would attract a penalty of INR 2000.00.

03. Judicious Use of Water

Ladakh faces a water crisis. Thus, the guests are requested to use water judiciously. Additionally, washing clothes in the bathroom is also strictly prohibited. The washing of clothes would attract a penalty of INR 2000.00. The guest(s) can contact the reception for laundry services.
Linen/ Towels will be changed every alternate day.

04. Judicious Consumption of Electricity

Wasting electricity helps accelerate climate change/ global warming. The guest(s) are thus requested to consume electricity judiciously by switching off lights/ geysers when not needed.
